Hedley Street Play Area Renovated

After quite some time the Hedley Street Play Area has now been refurbished by Golding Homes, and a fantastic job they have done of it too!

Shortly after last May's elections councillor Richard Conyard was contacted by a local resident in June highlighting the dilapidated state of the play area and the issues it was causing for their children playing there.  Tracking down those responsible was rather tricky since all signage stated it was run by Maidstone Borough Council, however these were from the early 2000's.  Having found out the ownership was with Golding Homes Cllr. Conyard worked with their Homes Team to get the play area refurbished.  Although it has taken quite some time and lots of work, not least overcoming supply chain issues the park is now ready for the summer.
