Brian Clark

Brian Clark

Maidstone South Division

Brian grew up and continues to live locally with his wife and two children. He has been involved in his community for many years, having served as the sub-postmaster at Loose Post Office, and as a committee member of the North Loose Residents Association.

His affection for the local area led him first becoming a county councillor at KCC, and later at MBC as a Borough Councillor where he has continued to work t for the last ten years.

He is passionate about our natural environment, volunteering as trustee at Hayle Park Nature Reserve and working to protect and enhance our valued green spaces. He also has a history of successfully gaining reductions to local housing numbers and continue the fight to counter congestion on our roads (challenging Conservatives' failure to spend millions collected for Sutton Road and Loose Road improvements).

Recently he strongly opposed proposals to close of Tovil Waste and Recycling facility, the backlash leading to these being dropped, and will continue the fight should these plans resurface.
