Cabinet member goes against advice
Despite protests, speeches and a 7 to 2 vote in favour of completely replacing the initial MBC response to KCC regarding Oaken Wood the Maidstone Conservative Deputy Leader has chosen not to follow the advice.

The reappearance of this sink hole in July has led to both the closure of the road and the significant concern of residents that it could get larger if not addressed.
