Mike Thompson

Mike was born and has lived in Maidstone all his life including five years in the Ward, apart from a short period in early adulthood. He has four children. He was a teacher in modern foreign languages speaking German, French and Czech. He was later a Senior Education Officer at KCC with responsibilities in both Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone during his career.

Mike commented: “I have worked and supported the local Liberal Democrat team for many years and am currently an elected Maidstone Borough Councillor for North Ward. If elected, supporting local residents and working with the local residents association and other groups and associations will be my number one priority.”
