Richard Conyard

Richard has lived in Maidstone since the 1980s and now lives in the ward. He was Chief Information Officer for a global marketing and technology company before choosing to use his talents to benefit the community. Richard has already made his mark as an effective borough councillor since his election in East Ward in 2022. His work has helped countless residents, increased parking availability, improved play areas, created pocket nature reserves, and he can often be seen walking the ward to find and fix issues. Richard’s largest piece of work to date is to attempt to halt the depressing decline of our town centre, which has been warmly welcomed by residents and businesses.
